July 4 Celebrations and Fireworks in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky

Looking for fireworks on the 4th of July? Find incredible fireworks shows around Cincy to celebrate Independence Day. 

  • Newport Blast (7/3) - Mark your calendars for Newport Blast, the ultimate Independence Day celebration at Newport on the Levee! Experience the spirit of Americana with a Wild West-themed extravaganza, including live country music, thrilling mechanical bull rides, a river boat parade, line dancing, and fun games for all ages. For the best seat in the house, grab tickets to watch the fireworks from the Ohio River on a BB Riverboats Newport Blast Fireworks Cruise!
  • MadTree Red, White & Blue Ash (7/4) - Head to Summit Park in Blue Ash for an unforgettable Fourth of July evening as you enjoy quick bites from local food vendors, drinks, family-friendly festival rides, and a FREE performance from Billy F Gibbons and the BFG's (of ZZ Top)!
  • Red, White and BOOM with Cincinnati Pops (7/4) - Bring the whole family to Riverbend Music Center to join conductor John Morris Russell and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra for a showcase of American favorites inspired by the beauty of this land and its peoples. This year’s performance features the soul-stirring vocals of three-time Tony nominee Joshua Henry and the rich Americana sound of folk-rock band The Steel Wheels. Enjoy a star-spangled evening of patriotic favorites and a spectacular post-concert fireworks show that lights up the night.
  • Fort Thomas Independence Day Celebration (7/4) - Start your day with a bang at the YMCA Firecracker 5K at 8 a.m., then grab a spot along the parade route at 10:30 a.m. as floats, music and festive flair make their way from Highland United Methodist to the Midway District. As the evening rolls in, Tower Park becomes the heart of the celebration — live music from The Sly Band, tasty eats from local food trucks and plenty of activities to keep the fun going. When the clock strikes 10 p.m., look to the sky for a fireworks display that will leave you in awe. It's a celebration you won’t want to miss!
  • Star Spangled Nights at Kings Island (7/4 - 7/5) - Join Kings Island at 10 p.m. on International Street to witness this mesmerizing event. Finish off your day at one of Ohio's most beloved attractions with an unforgettable show filled with breathtaking fireworks, synchronized drones and vivid laser projections.
  • All-American Birthday Bash (7/5) - Keep the holiday weekend fun going at Sawyer Point & Yeatman's Cove. From sleek vintage rides to powerful muscle cars, you’ll witness automotive perfection in all its glory. Got a car that commands attention? Only 200 spots are up for grabs, and only the best of the best will be crowned the kings of classics!
