Why Cincy—World-class meeting destination

Why Cincy is your ideal meeting destination

World-class. It’s an adjective used to describe everything from fine wine to great architecture, and it’s the high standard Visit Cincy uses to evaluate how to put its best foot forward. Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are home to worldwide business and industry leaders, sought-after international events, renowned arts and culture, and a global worldview and influence that impacts every neighborhood and every business.

The Cincy Region has evolved into a world-class destination, with the infrastructure, events, venues, and experienced professionals to match.

Fortune 500 Companies Grow Here

Seven Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies are headquartered in the Cincinnati area, including Procter & Gamble, Kroger, and Western Southern.

International Events and Conventions

Cincinnati hosts a range of international events throughout the region. One of the largest was the 2012 World Choir Games. Held in July of 2012, the Games brought in more than 15,000 participants and 200,000 spectators from around the globe. Click here for information on the impact of the games. Major international conventions consistently choose Cincinnati, including the 2011 League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the 2014 International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Convention, and the 2014 National Urban League Conference.

“Why Cincinnati? It offers infrastructure. It offers history. The people are warm, welcoming, and friendly. When you have young people from all over the world competing in Cincinnati, you want them to bring home a good impression. Not only of the city but of the entire United States and its people. That’s what Cincinnati has to offer.”
- Gunter Titsch,
President of INTERKULTUR, organizer of the World Choir Games
