Red, White & BOOM: An Orchestral Celebration for America 250

America is turning 250-years-old this year, and there's no better way to commemorate the occasion than with an orchestral celebration by the Cincinnati Pops at Red, White & BOOM! 

Since Riverbend Music Center opened in 1984, this annual concert has brought the community together through music to honor America's birthday. This year's star-spangled event, featuring pre-concert activities, guest artists, and, of course, fireworks, is NOT one you want to miss. 

In celebration of America 250, the Cincinnati Pops has partnered with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to give back to the community and support disabled veterans and their families - helping to ensure they receive the benefits they have earned. All tickets for this event are priced at $10, with $5 from each ticket directly benefiting DAV. Each ticket includes access to pre-concert festivities, a patriotic concert with renowned guest artists, and a front-row seat to a fireworks show put on by Cincinnati's very own award-winning Rozzi Fireworks. 

Arrive Early!

The music may start at 8 p.m., but be sure to arrive early to park and get the most out of your ticket! The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with a variety of family-friendly activities. Bring your dancing feet for a Salsa on the Square dance lesson in the PNC Pavilion. Afterwards, put your practice to the test with live salsa music at 7:15 p.m. The Family Fun Zone also has things for all ages, including crafts, a music lab, face painting and more. 

A Star-Studded Evening

Starting at 8 p.m. and under the baton of John Morris Russell, the Pops will honor our country's musical heritage with compositions spanning the history of the U.S. Joining the Orchestra onstage, and alongside a special appearance by members of the United Sates Army, will be Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez, known for her roles in Hamilton, In the Heights, and Wicked. Other guest artists include former Cincinnati Reds announcer Marty Brennamen, Q-Kids dancers and the Cincinnati Pops chorale, directed by Matthew Swanson and Jason Alexander Holmes. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate 250 years of independence!
