What started as a way to bring the music of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra directly into local neighborhoods has grown into one of Cincinnati's favorite summer traditions. Now entering its fifth year, the Brady Block Parties—named after renowned Cincinnati orchestra and Western Hills High School band director Andrew J. Brady—are once again hitting the road with five free concerts throughout the region. Here's everything you need to know before attending this summer.

Explore Different Cincinnati Neighborhoods During this FREE Series

Whether you're a CSO subscriber, or you're visiting Cincinnati for the first time, the Brady Block Parties are a great way to experience our incredible Orchestra outside of Cincinnati Music Hall. Starting at 6:30 p.m., each block party has food, activities, and, of course, live music from one of the oldest and most legendary art institutions in our region. The best part? It's all FREE!

Make sure you come hungry, as each block party showcases local neighborhood vendors and food trucks, plus popcorn and cotton candy machines. If you'd rather pack your own picnic, you can do that too! Once you're full, enjoy some family-friendly art and activities like an interactive music lab and petting zoo. The real magic starts at 8 o'clock, when the sun starts to set and the musicians share their talent on stage. Set up your lawn chair or picnic blanket, sit back, and get ready to be inspired.

All Are Welcome

Each Brady Block Party has something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you attend with friends, family, or even by yourself, be prepared to connect with the local Cincy community through music. No two block parties are the same, with different guest conductors, different local performers and a variety of new music at each concert.

The neighborhood locations also change every year, with 2026 including Smale Park, Evanston, West End, Madisonville and Lincoln Heights. We hope to see you there!
