Float into the New Year with BB Riverboats
Toast the new year on the Ohio River! BB Riverboats will float you into the new year with a three-entrée buffet, entertainment, and of course, a cruise on the mighty Ohio River! Champagne will be flowing at midnight, and you can enjoy a late snack buffet and take home a party favor you’ll be “shore” to love. Boarding begins at 8 p.m., and you will set sail at 9 p.m. BB Riverboats is also offering a special Kids New Year’s Lunch Cruise that starts earlier in the day at 11:30 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. boarding time.
Happy Zoo Year at Cincinnati Zoo
The wildest and cutest New Year’s Eve bash in the city is at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Bring the whole family to enjoy the zoo starting as early as 1 p.m. with PNC Festival of Lights activities beginning at 4 p.m. Then enjoy a kid-friendly 8 p.m. countdown to the “New Year” as a part of Happy Zoo Year!
New Year's Eve at Winterfest
Head over to King's Island's Winterfest for a New Year's Eve Countdown featuring a giant balloon drop and close out the year with music and fireworks at the stroke of midnight!
New Year's Eve Blast at Fountain Square
The annual New Year's Eve Blast celebration is back on Friday, December 31 (6-12:30 a.m.), so you can party on the plaza or celebrate on the ice. The UC Health Ice Rink, presented by Fifth Third Bank, at Fountain Square will be open and ready.
• Hot, cold, and bubbly drinks a Fountain Square's Bar
• Heaters and high-top tables to gather around with family and friends
• DJ Natalie Jones & host, Jay Kruz, onstage setting the party vibe
• A Kids Countdown at 7:10 p.m. and Midnight Countdown at midnight.

Skip the champagne and toast a giant stein of German beer at Hofbrauhaus! Enjoy live music and a special holiday menu in this iconic biergarten.
Cincinnati Cyclones vs Icemen + indoor fireworks at Heritage Bank Center
Celebrate the new year with the whole family and the Cincinnati Cyclones! Game starts at 6:00 p.m. and stick around after the game for the indoor fireworks show on the ice!
