Cincinnati Cougars
A Member of the Women's Football Alliance Since 2023
The Cincinnati Cougars is a nonprofit, women's competitive, tackle football team formed in 2022. They joined the Women's Football Alliance, which is a semi-pro, full-contact women's American football league, and the largest 11 on 11 football league for women in the world. The Cincinnati Cougars' values include breaking barriers and stereotypes in women's sports and empowering their players and women everywhere. The Cincinnati Cougars also value football education, community outreach, and making a positive impact in Cincy and beyond. Last, but not least, the Cougars strive to create a fun and engaging experience for the fans and a positive experience for their players and coaches.
A Record to Roar About
In 2023, their inaugural season in the Women's Football Alliance (WFA), the Cougars finished with a 3-3 record. In 2024 the Cougars went 8-1 and won the D3 National Championship. The 2025 season finished 6-1 and the Cincinnati Cougars were Regional Champions. The Cincinnati Cougars are now in the PRO division within the WFA.
