Stretching over 70 miles, the Little Miami Bike Trail is the fourth-longest paved bike trail in the United States. Winding its way through charming small towns, dense forests, and alongside the gorgeously midwestern Little Miami River, this trail offers an unforgettable outdoor experience, especially in the spring and fall! Whether you’re a serious cyclist or just looking for a leisurely ride, the trail’s accessibility and beauty make it a must-visit destination in the Cincy region.

One of the best things about the Little Miami Bike Trail is that you can hop on and off at various points, each offering its own unique attractions. From breweries and scenic views to quirky small towns, here are some highlights to check out on your next adventure.

1. A Wholesome Trail Hub, Loveland

The town of Loveland is one of the most popular spots along the trail—and for good reason. This cute, family-friendly town has a lively atmosphere with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to explore. Loveland is a perfect place to stop, grab a bite to eat, and rest before continuing your ride.

The trail here is particularly scenic, hugging the Little Miami River and passing through lush green landscapes. On a warm day, you might spot families, cyclists, and kayakers all enjoying the natural beauty of the area. If you're planning a longer trip, you could easily spend an afternoon exploring everything Loveland has to offer.

2. The Perfect Pit Stop

Need a boost during your ride? Fifty West Brewing is a favorite stop for cyclists on the trail. Located conveniently along the trail, this brewery is known not only for its craft beer but also for its bike-friendly amenities. Whether you need a spare tire, a water bottle refill, or just a break to enjoy the atmosphere, Fifty West has you covered.

It’s a spot that blends the best of both worlds—great drinks and essential bike supplies—making it a popular gathering point for both local and visiting cyclists.

3. Monkey Bar & Grille

Another popular stop along the trail is the Monkey Bar & Grille, a laid-back spot where cyclists love to gather. With a unique history,  relaxed vibe, and riverside location Monkey Bar & Grille is a staple for trail-goers. Whether you're stopping for a quick drink or a full meal, you'll enjoy the friendly atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

4. Day Trip to Yellow Springs

Further up the trail in Ohio lies Yellow Springs, a quirky and artsy town with a hippy vibe. Known for its colorful shops, galleries, and independent eateries, Yellow Springs is a great destination for cyclists who want to take a longer break and explore. The town's charm makes it worth dedicating an entire day to wander through its streets, enjoy a coffee, and soak in the creative energy. It’s a prime example of how the Little Miami Bike Trail connects you to hidden gems throughout the region

5. Beginner-Friendly Ride

For those new to cycling, the Corbin section of the trail is particularly inviting. While I have not ridden this particular portion of the trails, local cyclists rave about its flat, shaded paths that provide a gentle and scenic ride perfect for beginners. The paved surface throughout the trail makes it accessible for riders of all experience levels, while the forested areas offer plenty of natural beauty and cool shade.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed ride, this part of the trail is a great place to start.
