Mardi Gras in Mainstrasse
A German-influenced neighborhood might not be the first place you think of when searching for Mardi Gras festivities, but Mainstrasse Village in Covington, Kentucky is notorious for being the life of the party every February!
The annual Mardi Gras parade will kick off on Saturday, February 18. Starting at Larry’s All-American Café, the route winds down Main Street and ends on 5th. You’ll find popular local bars along the parade route like Gypsy’s, the Cock & Bull Public House and Crafts & Vines where you can grab a Hurricane and enjoy live music. If you’re looking for a more guided experience, you can also tag along on the Mainstrasse Pub Crawl that kicks off immediately afterwards at Up Over bar. Click here for more information.
