One of the best things about visiting Blooms & Berries, much like most of Cincinnati's attractions that fall outside of the downtown core, is how easy it is to reach. Loveland is a 25 - 30 minute drive from downtown, making it the ideal half-day excursion for someone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Whether you're staying in Cincy or across the river in Northern Kentucky, it's just a quick jaunt up 71-North. 

 

The short drive offers up a refreshing change of scenery. As the skyline fades behind you, soak up rolling farmland, open hills and country roads. You could easily make a whole day out of your visit by adding a stop in historic Loveland and enjoying the incredible Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail. 

U-Pick 

One of the biggest draws all year round are the U-Pick opportunity for berries and produce. You must sign up for a specific date and time slot by purchasing a field pass to pick your own produce. The best way to stay on top of available crops is to sign up for text updates from Farmer Jeff.

Family-Friendly Entertainment

You can bring the whole family to Blooms & Berries and spend hours - there are activities for all ages. 

  • Play Yard: Purchase a single day pass, or a summer pass (just $15.95) for entry to the Play Yard all summer season! The Play Yard is designed for a full day of fun and features a low ropes course, farm-themed yard games and a giant slide. Note: different rates apply for adult entry.
  • Petting Farm: Visitors can feed and pet over 40 farm animals at the Blooms & Berries Petting Farm! Hang out with cows, goats, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, sheep, chickens, ducks, bunnies and turkeys. 
  • Covered Picnic Area/Beer Garden: Pack your own picnic lunch and hang out in a giant, shaded barn. During select events grown-ups can indulge in local and craft beers. Note: It is not permitted to pack your own alcohol, and glass is prohibited. 
  • Barnyard 500 Trike Track: Little ones can ride through a farm-themed tricycle track.

Bring Home Something Special 

Blooms & Berries is a fully functioning farmer's market, with a variety of items for sale. 

  • Produce: Don't feel like picking your own produce? Pick up some from the produce stand, including harvests that are not available as U-Pick options like tomatoes, sweet corn, peaches, hot peppers, summer squash and more. Note: runs mid-June through Labor Day only. 
  • Market Barn and Bakery: Grab something fresh baked and sweet! The Blooms & Berries Bakery sells a variety of sweet treats like cinnamon rolls, breads (banana nut, blueberry lemon, zucchini, etc.), fresh made fudge, and even take & bake pies and cookie dough. 
  • Souvenirs: Looking for the perfect local gift? Shop for jams, jellies, local wine, local cheeses and meats, kettle corn, apple cider, candy and ice cream. Beyond that, you'll find stuffed animals, adorable serving ware, blankets, apparel, seasonal decor and more. 
  • Garden Center: Expand your own garden with TONS of flowers, trees, shrubbery and seeds. You'll find new options every season.

Special Events

Arguably the best way to spend a day at Blooms & Berries is to plan a visit during one of their special festivals and events. Dates vary year by year depending on harvest conditions. 

  • Tulip Trail: Go for one of the most beautiful walks around! Stroll through a wooded half-mile trail that features thousands of vibrant tulips and other seasonal blooms. Sign up for text updates for this one - it's only available during a short window. 
  • Strawberry Days: U-pick strawberry picking, seasonal treats, live music and food trucks, themed Play Yard games and more. 
  • Fall on the Farm: Don't miss this unforgettable fall experience! Check out a corn maze, take a hayride, pick out your fall pumpkin, then shop for seasonal treats like apple cider and pumpkin bread. Adults can sip on beer and wine in the seasonal Beer Garden, then check out local football games in between hayrides.
