Over-the-Rhine’s Wildweed has earned a spot on The New York Times annual list of the 50 Best Restaurants in America. The recognition places the pasta-driven restaurant among the most celebrated dining destinations in the country.
Opened in July 2024 by chef David Jackman and co-owner Lydia Jackman, Wildweed grew out of the couple’s popular Sunday Sauce pop-up series. The restaurant offers two experiences: a seasonal à la carte menu and a chef’s counter tasting menu built around seven rotating ingredients.
This latest honor follows a growing list of national accolades. Esquire named Wildweed one of America’s Best New Restaurants, and Bon Appétit included it on its prestigious Best New Restaurants 2025 list after an editor visited Cincinnati earlier this year.
Wildweed’s inclusion on these influential lists further elevates Cincinnati’s national dining reputation, spotlighting the creativity and community spirit driving the city’s culinary scene.
