National recognition is shining a spotlight on Black culture, music and culinary experiences in the Cincy region.

VIBE recently featured a “Cincinnati Travel Guide” highlighting the Queen City and Northern Kentucky as must-visit destinations for travelers seeking authentic culture, history, food and music experiences. The story explored some of the region’s standout Black-owned businesses, historic attractions and community landmarks discovered during Cincinnati Music Festival weekend.

Among the featured stops were the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, The Aperture* and blaCk Coffee Lounge* — all recognized for helping shape the region’s vibrant cultural identity and visitor experience.

The feature also celebrated Cincinnati’s deep musical legacy, noting the long-running impact of the Cincinnati Music Festival and the city’s ties to legendary artists including Bootsy Collins, The Isley Brothers and The O'Jays.
