The Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes The Summit, A Dolce Hotel, to the Cincinnati region. The brand new 239-room hotel offers 32,600 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space with an emphasis on group conferences and collaborative spaces.

With Cincinnati’s central location and reputation as a major economic hub, the introduction of The Summit’s meeting space will help regional companies hold more effective, immersive meetings. Located within 20 minutes of downtown Cincinnati and its northern suburbs, The Summit blends artful architecture and thoughtful amenities to provide Dolce’s signature guest experience. The modern Madisonville Ballroom, the sprawling Rooftop Terrace and 17 customizable meeting rooms provide ample options for meeting planners to creatively utilize the space.

“We are excited to offer The Summit as another fresh, new option for meeting planners to host events in Cincinnati,” said Mike Laatsch, interim president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA CVB. “We take great pride in providing the highest level of hospitality, creating unforgettable visitor experiences and incorporating our region’s unique mix of cultures into all that we do. The Summit is the latest example of the Cincinnati region delivering on those promises.”

In addition to meeting and event facilities, guests at the hotel have access to sophisticated amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, an ultramodern social library, and a complimentary guest shuttle providing easy access to the many breweries, restaurants, parks, venues and attractions throughout the Cincinnati region.

“We put a challenge to ourselves: how do we design space and service that engages and enlightens every meeting attendee? The result is a transformative journey that takes guests from everyday to extraordinary,” said Bruce Flyer, general manager of The Summit. “We pledge everything from thought-provoking works of art to chef-curated dining experiences. We promise to spark creativity and self-discovery. It’s an entirely new way of delivering exceptional meeting experiences.”

With a strong emphasis on nourishment for guests, Dolce’s The Summit Hotel offers three unique dining options. For meeting goers and business travelers, The Market offers an interactive chef experience in an open kitchen - a vibrant space with a focus on fresh foods and an emphasis on chef and guest interaction. Brew & Barrel offers multi-purpose dining options including premier coffee and gourmet breakfast sandwiches in the morning and sophisticated bar options with small plates and an emphasis on local craft beers in the evening. The Overlook Kitchen + Bar, nestled next to the firepits, conversation seating and live music on the outdoor rooftop terrace, serves cocktails, local beers, outstanding wines and a menu of delicious meals ranging from small bites to in-season varieties for both guests and locals alike.

“There is nothing like The Summit in the region. It’s exciting to introduce a hotel of this caliber of authentic service, locally sourced food and inspiring design to Cincinnati,” Flyer said.

The opening of The Summit comes in the midst of a hotel boom throughout the Cincinnati region, with nearly 600 rooms being added downtown and another 850 rooms in development throughout the region. New-to-market brands like Marriott’s Autograph Collection, Kimpton Hotels and Curio Collection by Hilton are expected to make appearances in the region in the coming years.

“The travel and tourism industry in the Cincinnati region is thriving, and the addition of The Summit is a testament to the strength of our destination,” Laatsch said.
