CINCINNATI, OH (For Immediate Release) – The Cincy Region takes center stage in a recent episode of the popular Irish travel series, Ed Finn’s America. Visit Cincy and meetNKY hosted Finn in May as part of its broader strategy to promote international travel to the Cincy Region.
In the episode, which has aired in Ireland, Finn delved into the heart of the Cincy Region, highlighting a variety of attractions and cultural treasures, including:
- Culinary Delights: Led by Mayor Aftab Pureval, Finn explored Cincinnati’s thriving food scene, including highlights from the Taste of Cincinnati focusing on minority owned vendors.
- Cincy’s Street Art: The includes drone shots of the vibrant murals and public art that earned Cincinnati recognition as one of America’s best cities for street art.
- Beer & Bourbon Culture: Finn learned about Cincinnati’s historic brewing roots at Rhinegeist Brewery, followed by exploration of New Riff Distilling and the region’s unique bourbon culture, an official Gateway to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®
- Over-the-Rhine History: Finn delved into Over-the-Rhine’s German heritage, exploring its 19th-century Italianate architecture and the story of the Flying Pig, a symbol of the city’s resilience.
- Sports Spotlight: Finn highlighted Cincinnati’s sports legacy, including its iconic status as home to America’s first professional baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds.
