Big tourism weekend includes Cubs at Reds baseball, 
Fourth of July festivals 

CINCINNATI (For Immediate Release) — The Cincinnati region is welcoming the Moose International Convention to Cincinnati’s Duke Energy Convention Center, June 30-July 4. Moose International is an organization dedicated to caring for young and old, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life. With the Convention and the Reds/Cubs series at Great American Ball Park, some downtown hotels are sold out. Convention attendees are scheduled to attend the Cincinnati Reds game, July 2.
 
With more than 4,500 attendees, the Moose International Convention will be one of the largest convention gatherings in the region in the last several years, regardless of the pandemic,” said Julie Calvert, CVB president and CEO. 
 
“With baseball, fireworks, festivals and Moose International, this Independence Day weekend promises to be a boon -and a boom- for tourism and hospitality in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky regions,” said Julie Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of meetNKY.

  • Total economic impact: $6 million
  • Convention organizers and attendees will spend $3.8 million at local businesses 
  • Convention will support 800 jobs
  • Convention will generate $173,000 in local taxes
  • The Convention will use 22 local hotels
  • The Convention will use 40 buses to shuttle attendees and will make use of the Transit Center in Downtown Cincinnati.
 
 
The Cincinnati regional hospitality community is dedicated to providing safe experiences for guests. The convention, venue and hotels will adhere to Ohio's Safe Restart Guidance.
