Western & Southern Open
A week of thrilling tennis action
Every August, thousands of tennis fans descend upon Mason, Ohio, to watch over a week's worth of thrilling, star-studded tennis match-ups at Cincinnati's Western & Southern Open tennis tournament.
Originally called the Cincinnati Open, this tennis tournament is the second oldest in the country (1899), and is the second largest summer tennis event in the United States (behind only the US Open).
The Lindner Family Tennis Center is located just north of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio, and spans 17 tennis courts, including four stadiums. Past champions include Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams.
