What’s New in the Cincy Region?

The Cincy Region has been experiencing an exciting renaissance for over a decade. There’s a convergence of new developments, projects, and convention wins taking shape that collectively makes this one of the most progressive, game-changing eras in our region’s history. Almost all of this progress will directly impact and benefit visitors to the region.

Downtown Cincinnati Convention District

If you haven’t taken a look at Cincy recently, look again. More than $2 billion in redevelopment has already transformed our downtown area from the Banks Entertainment District along the Ohio River to Fountain Square and up to our Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Now we're investing even more by reinventing the future of meetings. An $800 million development will completely transform Cincinnati's Downtown Convention District. The redevelopment started in July 2024, and the Convention District marquees will be a reimagined Duke Energy Convention Center connected to a brand new, Headquarters Hotel and a new Elm Street Convention Plaza. In addition, the new Foundry and Paycor headquarters brings additional restaurants and retail to the mix. With downtown is already bursting with energy and excitement, now is the time to start planning your next big event in Cincinnati.
