The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience has made its Ohio debut right here in the Cincy Region. Between October 24 and November 30, 2025, at Cub World Adventure Camp near Milford, Ohio, this immersive nighttime trail invites fans of all ages to step straight into the Wizarding World.

Created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and Fever, this outdoor experience is now in Cincinnati for you to explore the magic hidden among the trees.

Wander Where the Magic Lives

The moment you enter the forest, you’ll be surrounded by glowing lights, enchanting music, and the familiar creatures and characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts stories. The self-guided trail winds through real woodland, illuminated by spell-binding displays and soundscapes.

Keep your eyes open for HippogriffsNifflersPygmy Puffs, and maybe even a Unicorn or two. Along the way, you can try your hand at casting spells, capture magical photos, and immerse yourself in a world that feels like it leapt off the page.

The journey takes about 60–90 minutes, starting and ending in a themed village where you can enjoy warm drinks, themed food selections and a frothy mug of Butterbeer® under twinkling lights. You’ll also find exclusive merchandise, cozy fire pits, and plenty of opportunities to make memories.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Forest

Here are our Quick Tips to make the most of the magic!

Wands at the Ready: One of the main features of the Forest are the stops along the way where you can practice famous spells and wand skills to see the magic unfold before your eyes. Bring your wand from home, or you can purchase one on site. They do not need to be specially branded to trigger the exhibits. Note: the magic may wait until you get the spell exactly right before reacting – it’s all part of the Hogwarts experience!

Stop for the Special Experiences: There are many fun interactive stations to make the most of the experience, like a spot to write a postcard home from Hogwarts, and of course an ongoing Sorting Hat ceremony. Throughout the path, look for the hidden details, and listen for the magical music and story tracks. You may just hear he-who-must-not-be-named whispering a spooky demand, or see cute Pygmy Puffs magically appear.

What to Wear (for Wizards or Muggles): Yes, many guests dress up like their favorite characters adding to the fun! Whether you’re in a robe or parka, make sure you’re dressed warmly for the weather. The experience lies along a gravel path with large stones, so make sure you have sturdy shoes. Note for families, there are no bathrooms along the path, just at the exit and entrance.

Make it a Trip:  Stay in the area overnight at one of our welcoming downtown or suburban hotels. After all, every great wizard needs a cozy common room to retreat to. Other add-on adventures you may enjoy:
