Are you looking for a place to celebrate our Independence Day in true American style? Head on over to Newport on the Levee for the first ever Newport Blast event on Wednesday, July 3, presented by meetNKY, Newport on the Levee and BB Riverboats in conjunction with the City of Newport.

Newport Blast is a celebration of authentic Americana. This carnival inspired Fourth of July event will take place on July 3, at two incredible locations along the Ohio River, Newport on the Levee and aboard BB Riverboats. Here is a quick snippet of what you and your family can expect at what we think could be your new Fourth of July family tradition.

Newport on the Levee

From 5-10 PM, enjoy an evening of food, live music, games, face painting and a hot dog eating contest! Let the kids enjoy themselves on the inflatable slide and hop around inside a stars and stripes bounce house. To cap off the celebration, Rozzi Fireworks will draw your attention to the sky with spectacular fireworks display and drone show.

BB Riverboats

Hop aboard BB Riverboats for a lunch cruise from 12-2 PM. Take a sightseeing cruise of our region’s rich history, enjoying historical sites from 3-4:40 PM. Looking for dinner and the best views in the house for the fireworks? Secure your tickets now for their dinner cruise from 8-11 PM. All cruises require a ticket to be purchased ahead of time.
