A Guide to Pride in The Cincy Region by local expert, The Midwestern Lesbian

Happy Pride Month! My name is Kelsey and I am the creator of Midwestern Lesbian, a local resource for all things queer in Cincy. To stay updated on LGBTQ+ events in the Cincinnati area, be sure to follow Midwestern Lesbian on Instagram and Facebook for our weekly updates. 

Here's my roundup of things to do during Pride Month in the Cincy Region!

June 1

• Hamilton Pride, Attend a rally & march at 11 a.m. at Rotary Park, followed by a festival from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Marcum Park.

June 2

• Northern Kentucky Pride at MainStrasse Village and Goebel Park from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy an annual parade, followed by an exciting festival featuring tons of local artists, vendors, performers, food trucks and more!

• Northern Kentucky Pride After Party at Hotel Covington, starting at 5 p.m. Get ready for a fun night of live drag, dancing and specialty cocktails. 

June 5

• Be one of the first to try the annual draft release of Rhinegeist's special Pride brew at the Miss Major release party at Rhinegeist Brewery from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Hosted by master of ceremonies, Midwestern Lesbian, and featuring: a clothing drive with Transform Cincy, Drag Bingo with Queen City Charities, limited edition rainbow popsicles by Street Pops, and an Oakley Soap Co pop up! 

June 6

• Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Pride Block Party with Monet X Change at The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park, starting at 6 p.m. and concert at 7:30 p.m. FREE and open to the public!

June 7

• Catch Pride Night with the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park starting at 7:10 p.m., facing off against the Chicago Cubs. Tickets will include a special limited edition Reds Pride hat! Buy tickets here.

June 8

• Loud + Proud Drag Brunch at 16 Lots Southern Outpost at Newport on the Levee, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Shop local at Pride Market with Artisan Fest 513 at Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Trans Pride Adult Prom: The Decades. At Leapin' Lizard Lounge, 724 Main St. Covington, KY 41011, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Pride Night at Unwind Wine Bar, starting at 8 p.m. Featuring a local drag show with Brock Leah Spears, PH Dee & Lady Phaedra, along with DJ Flat and an open dance floor after the show!

• Hillsboro Pride at Liberty Park in Hillsboro Ohio from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy live music, drag performers and local vendors. 

June 9

• Wigs & Waffles Drag Brunch at Rhinegeist Brewery from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Tea Dance at  Rosedale OTR starting at 4 p.m. with DJ DigitalDowns and in partnership with Cincinnati Pride and ChicOut. Enjoy a vibrant day party with cocktails and dancing.

June 12

• Pride Night at Florence Y'alls. The Florence Y'alls take on the Windy City Thunderbolts. The team will be wearing specialty Pride jerseys that will be up for auction during the game. 6:40 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

June 13

• Big Gay Karaoke: Pride Edition with Midwestern Lesbian at Tokyo Kitty! Join us for a fun and positive karaoke event in a safe and inclusive space that welcomes all! Grab your free ticket to enjoy a Photo Booth, signature cocktails, rainbow cat ear giveaways, and free Mainstage karaoke all night long.

• Queerbait Presents: Queer Movie Night on the lawn at OTR Stillhouse. Buy your tickets to this special showing of "Love Lies Bleeding" here!

June 14

• Sapphic Factory: A Modern Queer Joy Dance Party at Bogart’s, doors open at 8:30 p.m. (18+). Featuring the music of Chappell Roan, Fletcher, Phoebe Bridgers, Kim Petras and more! Bonus: $1 per ticket goes to supporting the LGBTQ+ National Help Center and their work providing vital peer support, community connections, and resource information for the LGBTQ+ community. 

June 15

• Augusta Pride in the Park, Augusta River Park E. Second St., Augusta, KY 41002. Celebrate love, diversity, and unity at the family friendly, 2nd annual Pride in the Park . Craft and food vendors plus insightful guest speakers. 12 p.m. 

• Queer the Way! Variety show and Art Market at Northside Tavern, starting at 3 p.m.

• Loud & Queer, Cincy’s first ever teen Pride fest with Girls Rock Cincinnati at 5 Points Alley. Hosted by Guad Ala Jara, live music from Tangerine, School of Rock Cincy, Khara, vendors, crafts and more! Open to all ages! A dry/sober event. FREE!

• Sapphic Sips with Midwestern Lesbian at Binski’s Bar starting at 8 p.m. With drink specials, photobooth and more!

• Drag Queen Story Time with P.H. Dee at Joy and Matt's Bookshop - starting at 12 p.m.

June 16

June 18

• Big Gay Bowling Night with Midwestern Lesbian at PiNS Mechanical Co. starting at 7:30 p.m. FREE bowling, Pride drink specials, photo booth, giveaways and more!

June 20

• Don't miss the first ever Lebanon Pride Festival at Bicentennial Park/Mulberry Plaza in downtown Lebanon, Ohio! Join in on the festivities from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; featuring live entertainment, food, vendors, and health/wellness information. 

June 21

• Cincinnati Magazine Pride party at Court Street Plaza from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. With a live DJ, free swag bags, shopping, tasty treats, and more! Grab tickets here.

• Summer Solstice Pride party with Midwestern Lesbian at Homemaker’s Bar starting at 7 p.m.

June 22

• Cincinnati Pride Parade throughout downtown Cincinnati, followed by the annual Pride Festival at Sawyer Point starting at 12 p.m. Headlining performances will include The Aces and Priyanka, winner of Canada’s Drag Race! The festival will cover a large spread of Sawyer Point, and will feature live music, tons of local vendors, information about the history of Pride, food trucks, and much more. All ages welcome!

• Pride Market at The Art Academy of Cincinnati from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. In collaboration with Cincy Vogue and Bloom OTR.

June 23

• Tea Dance with DJ Boywife at Hard Rock Cafe, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy a live DJ, cocktails and dancing. In partnership with Cincinnati Pride and ChicOut.

June 25

• Adult Swim: Pride Edition at Ziegler Park Pool from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

June 28

• Sapphic Dance Party with Midwestern Lesbian at Queen City Exchange, starting at 9 p.m.

June 30

• Head to the Lawrenceburg, Indiana Fairgrounds for the annual Dearborn County Pride Festival from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bring the whole family to this inclusive event, with live drag, music, food vendors and more.
