Celebrate Bourbon and Beer with 2 Fun Festivals March 7-9 in the Cincy Region

One of the great reasons to plan a trip to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is because when you come here you get to experience two destinations in one! You can enjoy the cultural attractions on the Cincinnati side of the river and the best of the South on the Northern Kentucky side. NKY has a top 10 U.S. Aquarium and the first Hofbrauhaus built outside of Munich, Germany. After visiting them, walk across the pedestrian-only Purple People Bridge to enjoy a Cincinnati Reds or Bengals game!

There are many more examples, but one of the tastiest combinations you can enjoy in the Cincy Region is craft brewing and its storied history on the Cincinnati side and a wealth of bourbon experiences and history in Northern Kentucky.

Bockfest and the Bonded Spirit Music Festival

March 7th through the 9th, 2025 you can experience both the best of craft brewing and bourbon at two signature festivals: Bockfest in Cincinnati and the Bonded Spirit Music Festival in Covington, Ky.

Bockfest 2025

Bockfest is a yearly celebration of Bock beer that happens the first weekend of March in Cincinnati. It’s one of our quirkier festivals with monks riding Segways, a parade led by the Sausage Queen, and a variety of Bock beers available on tap throughout the region. Bonded Spirit Music Festival 2025

The Bonded Spirit Music Festival was created by our local bourbon tour, The B-Line®. It used to be called the John G. Carlisle Bottled in Bond Competition and Celebration®. In 2025, it takes place March 8 from 5pm – 11pm at Smoke Justis in Covington, Ky. It’s an annual celebration of Bottled in Bond bourbon and this year added a Bluegrass music festival.
